The DVD -RW Disc

Record and delete again & again!

RW stands for Re-Writable. Therefore the DVD -RW (minus RW) allows you to record a program, delete it then re-record another program over and over again. The disc can also be called as an advanced DVD because it allows you to watch a program whilst recording another one at the same time. You can also edit your programs on a DVD-RW disc.

There are two recoding modes on the DVD -RW; "VR" and "Video". Use VR for the advanced fuctions such as editing and Time Slips. However you may not be able to playback the disc on other DVD players with VD so use Video if you want to share the disc. 70% of DVD players support the Video mode.
