DVD and CD Replication

What is DVD Replication?

DVD or CD replication involves actually pressing the discs with molten aluminium for the reflective surface and polycarbonate for the rest of the disc. Replication is most efficient for the production of quantities over 2000 discs as the fixed cost of the process becomes spread across the output. DVD and CD replication results in high quality discs due to the process used in printing the discs. A five color silk screen is often used for printing on replicates.
